Will cut his teeth and embraced all things VWD in 1986 when he took on a summer job while attending the University of Mount Union. Primed with degrees in finance and information systems, Will was eager to learn more about the wine industry.

He later strengthened his foundation by earning a Sommelier Certificate from the Court of Master Sommeliers.

The strengths and cultural values of VWD were realized under the excellent mentorship of founders Casey Forbes and Gene Parrino. Will’s quest for efficiencies and strengthening collaboration with all departments continues to develop as he leads the purchasing and logistics team. The real pleasure of his career harkens back to the founders’ simple vision, that the basis of Vintage Wine’s success lies with the world class people we employ and mutual respect for all.

When not occupied with wine, Will is a family enthusiast, enjoys getting lost in nature, snowboarding, scuba diving, and wants to continue to chase the fun he once had as a private pilot.
